Once I got this in the mail, I quickly opened it up. Out of the box, the blade wasn''t that sharp on the sides, but it was damn sharp at the tip. The kraton handle was very comfortable and had no possibility of slipping or dropping out of my hand. It was polished like a mirror. I tested it out on a piece of plywood, and this thing packs a punch! It''s also very intimidating.
